BRITISH Made Gothic Jewellery
We mention in our bespoke jewellery article how the wax casting method is utilised to create intricate Gothic jewellery and on this page, we have collated together many examples of pieces made with this technique.
All the Gothic jewellery here comes in pewter; a soft mailable metal perfect for this market in both price and looks. The surfacing has a dark, grungy look with the added advantage of it being able to hold coloured stones or be combined with other materials too.

Wiccan Pentagram Earrings
This pair of Gothic Wicca earrings are made from pewter and are an excellent example of the type of detail that can be created through wax moulding techniques in jewellery making as are most of the other pieces featured on this page. The stars look as though they have been made from wooden sticks tied at the ends and you can see the detailing of this in the images above. They come with the popular drop style hanging hooks in sterling silver.
Wiccan Pentagram Necklace
The necklace version of the Wiccan earrings above but this time with a much larger Pentagram. The added size depicts the detail very well from the wax mould, and again you can see in more detail the textures of the sticks cross one another and ties holding them together. The piece cos complete with a sturdy silver chain.
Gothic Bat Earrings
Of all the creatures of the night, it is the bat that symbolises more than anything the Gothic culture that we know of. Here we have an exquisite pair of bat earrings made from pewter that boast superb detail. They look just like real bats hanging from rafters with their wings wrapped around them and finished with sterling silver hooks.
Gothic Bat Necklace
Above we have the Bat necklace to match the earrings. It is larger in design so the detail is easier to make out. The designer has incorporated a branch that the bat hangs from together with black onyx eyes. The necklace comes complete with a shiny silver link chain.

Another pair of Gothic earrings designed around the bat. This time they both feature a dark red gemstone, very ghoulish.
Gothic Spider Necklace
If you are a fan of creepy crawlies, then this Gothic spider necklace is for you. The design comes in pewter and is styled in the form of a tarantula. The detail is outstanding, and it is also quite chunky too, measuring approximately 60mm x 70mm. The dark stone which makes up the body is black onyx cabochon. It comes on a sturdy solid silver chain.

An absolutely beautiful and very flamboyant design in solid sterling silver that holds a very special purple stone. Purple is the only colour of choice apart from black for Goths.
